Check your air tickets

Check your air tickets for accuracy including your names, travel dates, and gateway cities. It is required that the names of reservation match exactly the names on passports. If your middle name appears on your passport, it is required on airline tickets for international travel. Please call us as soon as possible if you notice any discrepancies to avoid experiencing difficulties during your trip.

Check-in online

We suggest you contact your airline 72 hours prior to your scheduled departure to reconfirm your flights’ reservation. Palace Travel is not responsible for notifying guests of changes. Please also verify proper check-in time. You can check-in online since many airlines’ websites provide this service.

Intra-China Flights

Luggage allowances for intra-China flights are limited and strictly adhered to. Each passenger may carry-on one piece only with dimensions not to exceed 8 x16 x 22 inches (20 x 40 x 55 cm) and total weight not to exceed 11lbs (5 kg). Any item in excess of the above restrictions must be checked. Checked bags’ dimensions are not to exceed 16 x 24 x 39 inches (40 x 60 x 100 cm) and total weight is not to exceed 44.2 lbs (20 kg). Excess charges may range from 100-200 USD per piece, based on weight and distance traveled. No liquids of any kind may be carried in carry-on luggage.

On intra-China flights, it is currently recommended to lock checked luggage. Therefore, we suggest you bring a luggage lock for each bag you will be checking.

Verify all checked baggage and carry-on restrictions with your airline. File a report with the airline before you leave the baggage claim area in the airport in the unfortunate event that your luggage is damaged or does not arrive with you. Contact our local representatives to let them know your delay by sending one person out to contact them directly.
